Students of the CYCSI Media Team visited the Engineering club to report their exciting Lemon Volcanoes experiment. The Media Team interviewed students, staff and took photographs.

1. Mr. Eric: What did the students learn today?
Ms. Christelle: The students learned about chemical reactions between an acid (lemon juice) and an alkaline (baking soda).
2. Ryan: What was the chemical reaction that took place during the project?
Tyler: Baking soda caused the lemon and food coloring to bubble.
3. Willis: Why is the baking soda spilling?
Elliot: The baking soda is spilling because we dropped it in the lemon to make it explode.
